Remarks by Carole Wolff, President of the Lake Chapala Society. As I look out amongst you all a recollection of memories in my own life of the stepping stones we take as move thru life. Here at LCS the ESL Program is one of the stepping stones to engage you in a more productive, creative life ahead of you. The fact that you are here and have the motivation to gain a second language for your repertoire adds an advantage to a higher realm in your continued life passage. The knowledge, wisdom and interaction with the unfamiliar makes for a better understanding of yourself and the world around you. What a wonderful moment of understanding to be more who you are and what you can do for your yourself, your family and others. With this, LCS congratulates you all for this 2017-2018 year in graduating and heading for the next step because life is a stepping stone. These steps, whether large or small, are a culmination of your life. Building for you and your family for a better tomorrow. |
